About the Artist
I’m a New Jersey–based contemporary abstract painter creating layered mixed-media work meant to live comfortably in real spaces — homes, workplaces, and public environments.
My paintings explore color relationships, texture, and visual rhythm, balancing energy with calm so the work rewards close looking without overwhelming the room.
For more than a decade I’ve exhibited throughout New Jersey in solo and juried shows, and my work is held in private and corporate collections in the United States and internationally.
About the Work
I work intuitively, building surfaces through scraping, blotting, stenciling, stamping, scratching, and direct contact with the paint.
I often develop several pieces at once, allowing each painting to evolve through response rather than a predetermined plan. Unexpected color relationships frequently guide the direction.
My goal is simple: paintings that remain engaging over time — work people continue discovering while living with it.
Most paintings evolve over weeks — I live with them in the studio before deciding they're finished.
